Welcome to the IECMH International Institute on EASy

If your home address is in a state, county, territory, or country that does not have an Association for Infant Mental Health (AIMH) connected to the IECMH International Institute, the Institute is your professional home for both membership and Endorsement.

Through the Institute’s EASy portal, you can:

Maintain your annual professional membership
Apply for IMH-E®, ECMH-E®, or both
Receive individualized guidance throughout the Endorsement process
Maintain and renew your credential after earning Endorsement
Pursue an additional category or designation as your work develops

You do not need to navigate the process alone. The Institute is here to help you identify the category and designation that best reflect your work, understand the requirements, and move through each step. You can connect with us at endorsementinstitute@gmail.com.

If an AIMH connected to the Institute begins serving your home area in the future, your EASy profile, application, and Endorsement records can be transferred. You will not need to begin again.

Important: 2027 Renewal Is Due by December 31, 2026

If you receive membership and Endorsement support directly through the IECMH International Institute, your 2027 Membership and Endorsement renewal must be completed by December 31, 2026.

Beginning with the 2027 membership year, the Institute is moving to one annual Membership + Endorsement All-Inclusive Fee of $200. Previously, professionals made separate payments at different points in the membership and Endorsement process. The bundled fee creates a clearer and more predictable process by combining membership, application, administrative, and renewal costs into one annual payment.

The annual fee supports:

One year of IECMH International Institute professional membership
EASy portfolio registration and administration
Individualized applicant guidance and support
Application processing and formal portfolio review
Professional reference-rating review
Formal feedback and final Endorsement documentation
Ongoing maintenance and renewal of your Endorsement
Applications for additional Endorsement categories or designations during the membership year, when requirements are met

This change is intended to reduce separate transactions, make costs easier to understand, and support professionals throughout the full Endorsement journey, not only at the time of application.

If a written examination is required for your category, the examination fee is separate and is $200 per examination.

Use the IECMH International Institute EASy Portal and select IECMH International Institute. Please use a personal email address whenever possible so you can maintain access if your employment changes.

IECMH Endorsement®

IMH-E® and ECMH-E® are competency-based credentials recognizing specialized knowledge, skills, and experience in supporting relationships and mental health from the perinatal period through age six.

Developed by MI-AIMH in 2002, Endorsement is used internationally by thousands of professionals across disciplines, settings, and scopes of practice. Professionals anywhere may apply, and once earned, your endorsement credential stays with you wherever your work or life takes you.

Right	Description
Right to be Informed	To be informed about how your data is processed (this Policy serves this purpose).
Right of Access	To request a copy of the personal data we hold about you.
Right to Rectification	To request that we correct any inaccurate or incomplete data we hold about you.
Right to Erasure (The "Right to be Forgotten")	To request the deletion of your personal data when there is no compelling reason for its continued processing.

Requirement	Purpose
Full Name	To match the request to the data subject.
Email Address(es)	The email address(es) associated with your EASy account or use of the Site.
Country of Residence	To determine the relevant legal framework (e.g., GDPR).
Specific Right Requested	Clearly state which right you are exercising (Access, Erasure, Rectification, Portability, Restriction, or Objection).
Detailed Description	A precise description of the data you are requesting, or the reason for your request (e.g., "I wish to receive all personal data processed in the last 12 months," or "Please correct my street address from X to Y").
